White Wines
Delicious fruity Sauvignon Blanc made by Philippe Sauger from Cheverny, a small appellation in the heart of the Loire region. The wine is characterised by the freshness of recognisable citrus fruit with an infectious tropical touch and a clean and crisp finish.
Intense nose and elegant wood tones. Medium full flavour that combines perfectly with the existing notes of white flowers and tropical fruits. Round on the palate with a remarkable finish.
Antão Vaz, Arinto and Viosinho: Herdade do Rocim Branco from Alentejo is a genuine wine, produced from the passion of generations who have always had the greatest respect and tenderness for the land. Bright yellow with a hint of green. Fine mineral and citrus aromas. Freshness and complexity reveal the ‘terroir’ from which it originated.
Fresh and crisp Vermentino made from 46 year old vines. Sliced apple, pear, light stone fruit and even some saline notes in the taste. This is because the old vines are very deeply rooted that they also absorb the salty minerals. This wine is the best that Tuscany has to offer in fresh whites with excellent balance. 85% Vermentino 15% Trebbiano Toscano.
Red Wines
Smooth and friendly with the fresh fruitiness of red berries and sultry ripe cherries. Subtle hints of flowers in the mild aftertaste.
The deep ruby red color immediately catches the eye – brilliant, attractive. The nose is classic, subtle and elegant, very Alsace and very Pinot, with small red fruits: cherry and redcurrant. The palate is rich, ample, with a good texture and the tannins are soft, ripe and delicate, displaying the perfect style for a Hugel Classic Pinot Noir.
Syrah, Grenache Noir, Mouvèdre: Deep purple color. Very expressive on the nose: the attack is round, dominated by Syrah (floral notes of violet and spices) but thanks to tannins of excellent maturity, Grenache shows a dense, robust but supple structure. Very good length on the palate, full of ripeness and a fine tannin extraction. Favourite of the owner!
The second wine of the famous wine estate Château Labégorce. This Cru Bourgeois now belongs to one of the permanent references in the Margaux appellation. Composed of 65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot. Fresh aromas of black forest fruits and vanilla. Fruity taste with ripe tannins and a long powerful finish.
100% Nebbiolo: Intense garnet in colour, the nose shows floral and spicy notes perfectly blended; with tobacco, cherries, cocoa and fresh raspberry highlights. The palate is rich, full-bodied and elegant.
Rosé Wines
Carmenere / Corvina / Syrah / Trebbiano di Lugana: Pale pink, floral bouquet with impressions of red fruit (cherries, raspberries) that continues in the lively and fresh taste with a spicy touch. … 11 minutes is the time it takes for the tractor to bring the picked grapes to the wine cellar … 11 minutes is the time when the grapes are gently pressed … 11 minutes the grape skins remain in contact with the must so that the light colour is obtained for this rosé. A juicy, tasty rosé that deserves to be drunk all year round!
Desserts Wines
An amber coloured, fully sweet grape juice from the “golden muscatel” with a rich and sultry scent of caramelised sugar and raisins which can be found in the taste.
Gonzalez Byass, Nectar, Pedro Ximenez, Jerez, Spain This dark brown, sweet, ‘thick’ dessert wine has a flavour of raisons and sun-dried figs.
